On Friday 31st May Grosvenor held one of our most ambitious Charity Fun days to date at our Head Office in Wolverhampton. Numerous games and activities were planned for the Head Office team with the aim of raising as much money as possible for The Care Workers Charity and of course to have lots of fun for all, across the working day!
Activities and stalls included Guess the baby photo, a tombola, guessing how many sweets in the jar, a lucky dip, blackout football, a series of sports challenges, guitar hero duelling, and a game of 2 truths and a lie with statements made (both true and false!) from our management team which raised significant interest!
Finally a special mention to the Treasure Hunt that was run and organised by our Deputy Payroll Manager Lynne Greenway which saw numerous colleagues testing their mental agility over cryptic clues before testing their physical abilities as they raced across the business park in an attempt to be crowned the inaugural Treasure Hunt champions!
We would like to give a special thank you to the fun day committee who organised the day from the very start through to the end and helped make it a resounding success! In addition we would also like to thank everyone who took part on the day to make the stalls a success, for making donations to a very worthy cause and most of all for helping put the “fun” in fun day!
The final total raised on the day came in at an excellent £250 that will help the Care Workers Charity to continue to give help to Care Workers facing financial hardship.
