Grosvenor Health & Social Care are delighted to announce the acquisition of CDA Care Ltd. CDA Care is a Home Care provider based in South Wales, delivering over 3,000 hours of care per week to service users across the Swansea, Neath and Carmarthenshire regions. This acquisition will complement our existing Care Cymru brand, who already deliver over 8,000 of care in neighbouring authorities, as we continue to enhance our overall presence in Wales. Commenting on the latest acquisition, Helen Baker, National Operations Director for Grosvenor Health & Social Care stated: “This acquisition marks an excellent opportunity to continue our growth in Wales by purchasing an excellent business which core focus has and will continue to remain delivering the highest quality care to it service users. We would like to thank Dave, Ceri and Amrita for their support throughout the process and wish them all the best for the future” Dave Howells, the exiting shareholder of CDA Care added: “After an extensive review of all interested parties, it was clear Grosvenor Health & Social Care was the most suited in terms of both their core ethos of delivering a quality service and ability to fulfil the potential of this magnificent Company and team I leave behind” Darren Stapelberg, CEO of Grosvenor Health & Social Care goes on to comment on the deal: “Following the recent investment of Weight Partners Capital into Grosvenor Health & Social Care, we are delighted to have completed this deal so quickly after. This is a clear sign of the underlying support they place in the Grosvenor team, and it is certainly an exciting time for this Partnership as move forward into 2022”.  Finally, Darren placed on record his thanks to all parties who assisted in the completion of this deal: “We would like to thank our legal advisors, Gateley Plc for their guidance in the purchase of CDA Care as they continue to be a fundamental part of our success. We would also like to thank Clydesdale Bank for their financial support in the completion of this deal”.

We are very pleased to announce that on the evening of Friday 25th June at the prestigious Scottish Care’s annual National Care at Home and Housing Support Awards ceremony, Rainbow Services (UK) Ltd was announced as the Winner of the Provider of the Year 2021 category! The awards ceremony took place virtually and was hosted by Scottish Care’s CEO, Dr Donald Macaskill, and Pop Idol winner, Michelle McManus. Following a large number of applications, Rainbow was shortlisted with three other providers, before emerging as the Winner. Grosvenor CEO, Darren Stapelberg, said that he was delighted with the Award, which was recognition of the commitment, dedication and hard work shown by the entire Rainbow staff. He sent a huge thank you and well done to all of the Rainbow team for the excellent service that they continue to provide. click for more info

Grosvenor Health and Social Care is pleased to announce the acquisition of Active Care (Ayrshire) Limited. Active Care is a Care at Home business operating in South Ayrshire, further enhancing our presence in Scotland, and bringing with it a further 2000 hours to the group. This latest acquisition, which will form part of Balmoral Health and Social Care, complements the already established Rainbow office in South Ayrshire. Speaking of the latest acquisition, Sara Abbott, Care Services Director for Scotland stated: "We are delighted to have acquired such a business that shares our family values and quality ethos. We would like to thank Joy for building a quality business and for the smooth transfer. We look forward to developing the business further and to continue our growth in Scotland.” Darren Stapelberg CEO finished by thanking the senior team for all their support and most notably, HSBC and team of legal advisors at Gateley Plc. “The ongoing support we receive from both the bank and our legal teams is a fundamental part of our success in the continued development and growth of our business”.

“Grosvenor Health and Social Care has recently donated £1,001.00 to the Sikh Toy Appeal, continuing their long standing support for the Wolverhampton based charity. The charity will spend the next few weeks delivering toys and gifts to disadvantaged children and their families on the run up to Christmas. This year has been exceptionally difficult for some families and the work Sikh Toy Appeal does is more important now than ever before. On 4th November 2019, Meridian Health and Social Care was launched as Grosvenor Health and Social Care’s latest regional brand. Previously part of the Midlands-based Sevacare brand, Meridian sees the East region develop its own localised branding with a presence in Coventry, Hinckley, Leicester, Lincoln, Nottingham and Tamworth. Recently the first ‘Meridian’ managers meeting was held and it was all smiles due to the success of the rebrand. Pictured above with team, Liz Bosley-Sharpe (Care Services Director for Meridian HSC) commented, “The rebrand to Meridian Health and Social Care has been well received by both staff and service users, all have adjusted well to the change of name and new uniforms and it is great to see them all coming together as one team.”

On Friday 31st May Grosvenor held one of our most ambitious Charity Fun days to date at our Head Office in Wolverhampton. Numerous games and activities were planned for the Head Office team with the aim of raising as much money as possible for The Care Workers Charity and of course to have lots of fun for all, across the working day!
